Qualifications
To qualify for our placement services, WHICH ARE 100% FREE FOR CHILDCARE PROVIDERS, you need to meet some basic criteria:
- Have command of the English language (bilingual a plus!)
- Permission to work in the United States.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Verifiable high school diploma or higher.
- Have verifiable experience as a childcare provider in a family home, DFCS licensed commercial childcare facility or DCFS licensed home daycare.
- Strong character references.
- Have or be willing to obtain pediatric CPR & First Aid certification. (If you don't have it, we will reimburse you once you're placed)
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Hiring and Screening Process
1. Fill out our online application.
2. Wait for our e-mail to schedule a phone call. On this call, we will confirm your position preferences and request any additional information.
3. Wait for our e-mail to schedule a live meet and greet- during the meeting with a member of our team, you will get a chance to ask questions and we will get the pleasure of learning more about who you are as a person!
4. Upon mutual decision to move forward, await results of background check and verification of information provided in your application. For our privacy policy on how we use this information, click here.
5. Once your application is processed, your candidate profile will be on our website and you will be scheduled for meetings with prospective family(ies).
6. Upon a successful match, you will receive communication of your placement with a client family which will include expected start date, work schedule, pay and benefits information.
7. We will check in with you after a few weeks once you're in your role to make sure things are going smoothly.
